Industry Account Executive, Retail & Consumer Goods - ASEAN

About the role

Salesforce is looking for an Industry Account Executive to drive strategic, enterprise-wide sales of its CRM and automation solutions into the largest companies in the Retail and Consumer Goods industry across ASEAN. The territory includes a mix of existing clients with additional revenue opportunities and prospects, and the role requires forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by selling Salesforce solutions into enterprise accounts within an assigned territory, driving new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Build and maintain a qualified target account list and go-to-market territory strategy, developing pipeline through prospecting, market knowledge and strategic outreach.
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, working with Sales Engineers, Professional Services, executives and partners to position Salesforce through value-based selling and business-case development.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline data and deliver reliable monthly forecasts.

Required profile

• A proven track record of exceeding quota in technology sales, ideally selling into large enterprise accounts in Retail, Consumer or Products and Goods segments.
• Significant experience in enterprise solution sales with consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
• Ability to drive and close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
• Experience will be evaluated against the core competencies of the role (e.g. leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work).

Required skills

• Strategic account planning and execution (even better if present).
• Track record selling to C-level executives across IT and business units in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand or Vietnam (even better if present).
• Strong technical competence paired with consultative selling skills, including a clear return-on-investment value statement.
