Regional Strategy and Partnerships Intern

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is offering a full-time internship within its Southeast Asia Regional Office in Singapore. Working alongside Regional Office colleagues, the intern supports projects that connect teams and stakeholders across the region, with exposure to corporate strategy and planning and practical business skills in a collaborative setting.

Key responsibilities

• Gather insights and develop recommendations to support Regional Office initiatives and decision-making
• Support stakeholder engagement through meeting preparation, background research, communications and follow-up
• Track regional projects, their timelines, materials and outstanding actions
• Prepare presentations, briefing materials, reports and written updates for different audiences
• Identify improvements to workflows, coordination and reporting, including digital solutions

Required profile

• Any discipline is welcome; strong critical thinking, business research ability and communication skills are sought
• High agency, intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to do meaningful work
• Ability to turn ambiguous issues into clear slides and written updates
• Dependable, organised and attentive to detail

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
